Happy new year from Michigan! We didn’t ruin the rib of beef this time around. Perfect medium rare. And not the Yorkshire puddings either. Tall and puffy and light and fluffy!

I did forget to order the oysters though. And we did open the champagne at midnight and stay up until 3:30am and now have a toddler to wrangle, so there’s that. But also: edibles, maple bacon, toaster waffles, a new sled and there’s a snowstorm a-comin’ and maybe, just maybe 2022 will be better than 2021 after all?
