Day 4: April 2022
Oof! Life has thrown me for a loop this past week, so Iโm a bit behind my self-induced #12daysofdeliciousness posting schedule. ๐ฌ I know my millions of followers must be oh-so-disappointed ๐๐๐
Back on track. Here we go. April! Hot and sour silken tofu! ้
ธ่พฃ่ฑ่ฑ๏ผ
I used to say if I could choose only two cuisines to eat for the rest of my life, theyโd be Mexican and Thai. I had a very thought-out, sensible reasoning behind this (totally useless and fanciful) pronouncement. ๐คฆโโ๏ธBut Iโm here to announce that I was wrong. Itโs Chinese and Iranian. All day. Every day. For all time. Hands down.
An Iranian-American from Michigan. Living in London. Whose โcomfort foodsโ include tachin and tofu. Thatโs me! Go figure. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
And this tofu was soft and spicy and soothing and crunchy and nostalgic and insanely delicious. (And super easy and cheap to make, btw.)
